PBA OF WESTCHESTER COUNTY, INC. STRONGLY ENDORSES
ROB ASTORINO FOR COUNTY EXECUTIVE
Says "Astorino will Bring Leadership and
Needed Change to County Government"
Pleasantville, NY- June 14...Reform
Westchester County Executive candidate Rob Astorino (R-I), who is
running for County Executive to "stop the tax madness", streamline
government services, and restore a high standard of ethics to County
government, today announced that he has been endorsed by The
Policemen's Benevolent Association of Westchester County, Inc. (PBA
of Westchester).
Mr. Astorino has a long history of serving alongside Westchester
police officers. He served for eight years as Chairman of the Mount
Pleasant Public Safety Committee, which oversees the Mount Pleasant
Police Department.
"Rob Astorino is the candidate we need to move Westchester forward,"
said Joseph Giustino, past president and Chairman of the Endorsement
Committee of the PBA of Westchester. "Mr. Astorino's commitment to
public safety and determination to make Westchester affordable again
for middle-class families make him a leader the Westchester PBA,
Inc. is proud to support. "
"I am honored to be endorsed by the men and women of the PBA of
Westchester," said Mr. Astorino. "Nothing is more important than
public safety, and, as County Executive, I will make sure that our
officers have the tools they need to keep our families and
communities safe. But more than that, I will devote myself to
streamlining county government and reducing taxes so that police
officers, firefighters, teachers and other hardworking public
servants can continue living in this county."
Founded in 1913, the PBA of Westchester County, Incorporated is the
oldest fraternal organization in Westchester. Comprised of police
officers from across Westchester County, the organization seeks to
foster good relations between departments and encourages service to
the community.
