Streamline Government
Too many layers of government are burying Westchester taxpayers. Rob Astorino will coordinate county, federal, state and local services to share services and eliminate redundancies. Waste and duplication have brought Westchester County to the brink. It is time to move in a smart, new direction.

Stop the Tax Madness
Our property taxes are the highest in America. And if we don’t do something about them now, they’ll double again in a decade. Rob Astorino is committed to reducing taxes, including business taxes that chase away jobs. Change needs to come to Westchester, and tax relief must be at its forefront.

Reform Ethics
Government is supposed to belong to us, not entrenched politicians and political insiders. County government has become a cushy job for our elected leaders in recent years, filled with perks that regular hardworking people could never imagine. That is not the kind of government we should be paying for. We all work too hard to see our tax dollars wasted on government junkets, fancy meals, and valet-service “bodyguards”.

Repair Infrastructure
Westchester’s infrastructure is a mess. Anyone who has crossed the Tappan Zee Bridge or 287 recently knows that all too well. Flooding has washed out local bridges and swamped homes along the Sound Shore, disrupting lives and sending families scrambling. Poor drainage systems, bad planning, and layer upon layer of government bureaucracy are to blame.
Westchester sends billions to Washington and billions more to Albany. So why is there never money available when we need infrastructure repairs? Rob Astorino will use the power of his office to demand federal and state infrastructure dollars. Westchester County needs leadership that will speak up for its needs.

School and Healthcare Aid
Westchester pays the highest taxes in New York State, yet we are constantly shortchanged on critical state dollars, especially for schools and healthcare. It’s one of the reasons our property taxes are so high. Fighting for state dollars must be a priority. It hasn’t been for far too long. Rob Astorino will fight for those dollars—the very same ones we send to Albany and never get back.

Protect the Environment
Westchester County can lead the nation in smart, cost-effective environmental practices. Rob Astorino has a proven environmental record, and he’ll work to preserve and protect parkland, the Hudson River and the Long Island Sound.
